What to expect

The Banking Automation Analyst plays a vital role within the Banking Automation team, supporting the delivery of key activities including reporting, data analysis, contract and compliance management. This position requires a strong understanding of data and contract management with a focus on applying best practices to help drive operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives. 


The Banking Automation Analyst will play a key role to help support the Banking Automation Team operations which includes ATMs, Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs), Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) and Note Counters. In addition, the Analyst will produce regulatory and scheme reports ensuring the data is accurate and produced to the agreed timetable.  


The Banking Automation Analyst will also maintain a procurement catalogue for key suppliers ensuring accurate capture of annual increases and new charges as well as regularly updating the supplier relationship management tool with relevant documentation and raise purchase orders. There is a responsibility to manage third-party data requests and act as a main point of contact for the Compliance & Control Manager and Head of Banking Automation and support a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement and high performance.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience producing regular reports and experience in compliance. In addition, you will possess: 
•    Good knowledge of all Microsoft products in particular Excel and PowerPoint 
•    Commercially oriented with a good business acumen 
•    Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively  
•    A good level of numeracy and attention to detail 
•    Experience in Contract Management and working closely with third party stakeholders would be of benefit  
•    An understanding of self service technology within banking would be of benefit
