Overview

Join Zonos as a Senior Frontend Engineer. We’re looking for someone with expert-level knowledge of TypeScript and ReactJS who is passionate about building elegant, scalable solutions. You’ll help shape the user experience of our products and set the standard for frontend development across the company.

What you will do...

• Design, build, and maintain engaging web applications, including the Zonos dashboard for plugin settings, shipping labels, and financial reporting.
  
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive user experiences that solve complex business problems.
• Mentor and support other engineers by sharing knowledge, conducting code reviews, and championing best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in frontend architecture, tooling, performance, and accessibility.
• Investigate and adopt new tools and approaches in the React/TypeScript ecosystem.
• Tackle technical challenges with creativity and pragmatism, from debugging critical issues to designing long-term solutions.

You could be a strong addition to the team if you...

• Want to live in sunny St George and enjoy a healthy work-life balance;
• 5+ years building scalable web applications; at least 2+ years with ReactJS in production.
  

• Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
  
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• React Native and PWA experience a plus
  
• Proficiency with ESLint or other tools to maintain code quality and consistency.
  
• Solid experience with responsive design, performance optimization, and accessibility.
  
• Ability to translate business and product needs into technical solutions.
  
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (preferred, not required).
