What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Global Logistics Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. In this entry-level role, you will support the coordination and execution of international and domestic shipments, ensuring goods move efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with all regulations. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to start a career in logistics and gain hands-on experience in global supply chain operations.
To Summarize, You Will
- Support documentation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs and trade regulations
- Track shipments and update internal systems with delivery status and any delays
- Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery
- Help resolve logistics issues and escalate problems when necessary
- Monitor and maintain records related to shipments, invoices, and compliance documents
- Partner with internal teams (Warehouse, Customer Service, Merchandising, etc.) to support smooth logistics operations
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Assist with coordinating import and export shipments, including air, ocean, and ground transportation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of logistics, supply chain, or related experience (internships welcome)
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with ERP or logistics systems a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Interest in learning about global trade, compliance, and transportation
