Duties and Responsibilities
- *Design and produce media assets, including graphics, print collateral, webpages and visuals, social media content, videos and marketing email visuals and designs.
- *Develop multimedia presentations, motion graphics, and video content for promotional and educational purposes.
- *Collaborate with marketing, college programs, and campus partner teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and design aesthetics.
- Manage and maintain the Outreach College’s multimedia assets, ensuring accessibility and organization.
- *Develop website content, including UX/UI enhancements and interactive media.
- *Stay updated on industry trends, AI tools, and best practices to ensure cutting-edge design approaches.
- *Provide creative direction and campaign execution, ensuring alignment with the college’s mission and goals.
- Work within established brand guidelines while innovating new visual approaches.
- Coordinate with vendors, and contractors for high-quality production of media materials.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Professional Work Experience:
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree in graphic design, multi-media design, communications or related field and 3 year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities for marketing, content creation, social media; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Considerable working knowledge of principles, practices and techniques in the area of graphic design, multi-media design, and/or communications as demonstrated by the broad knowledge of the full range of pertinent standard and evolving concepts, principles and methodologies.
- Considerable working knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state laws, rules, regulations and theories and systems associated with graphic design, multi-media design, and/or communications.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve wide ranging complex problems through the use of creative reasoning and logic to accurately determine the cause of the problems and the resolution of the problems in an effective, innovative and timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately in writing, verbally and by preparation of reports and other materials.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team leaders and members, and individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer, and apply word processing software.
- If applicable, for supervisory work, demonstrated ability to lead subordinates, manage work priorities and projects, and manage employee relations.
- Professional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and/or Rush, After Effects and WordPress).
- Experience using AI tools to develop content and imagery.
- Experience with video production software.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and UX/UI best practices for web design.
- Experience in social media content creation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with email marketing using Constant Contact or Mail Chimp.
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines for digital and print media.
- Experience working in an academic or public institution.
- Experience creating motion graphics.
