As a Regional Quality Manager with AWC, you will play a key role in guiding quality efforts across multiple shop locations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing quality processes, influencing operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Previous work history within the automation, manufacturing, or valve industry is essential for this position. This role is critical to sustaining our reputation for superior quality and customer satisfaction across the region.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with site leadership, operations, and engineering teams
  • Ensure compliance with all safety rules and company policies across assigned facilities
  • Provide oversight of site-level quality activities, including inspections, calibration programs, and corrective actions
  • Maintain and improve quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, AS9120, API, and other relevant standards
  • Monitor and analyze regional quality data, identify trends, and work with site leaders to address root causes
  • Lead customer and internal audits for your region, ensuring readiness and clear communication of results
  • Partner with supply chain and vendors to resolve quality-related concerns and improve performance
  • Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and customer requirements
  • Support, mentor, and develop quality personnel within your region as the team grows

Skills you’ll need:

  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in Quality, ideally with exposure to multiple sites or functions
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)
  • Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships across organizational boundaries
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS) and quality software systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting to both internal leaders and external customers
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements, ensuring compliance at every level

Here’s what will set you apart:

  • Prior experience working directly with shop managers or regional operations leaders
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ASQ CQE, or Lean Manufacturing background
  • Hands-on experience in industrial inspection or valve/automation quality environments
