💲 Pay: $90,000 - $115,000/year - based on experience
What You’ll Do
As a Parts Sales Manager, you’ll oversee the Parts Department to ensure profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will:
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department and work daily to meet them
- Hire, train, motivate, and monitor performance of department staff
- Prepare and manage the annual operating budget
- Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory to maintain profit goals
- Lead monthly department meetings to share updates and opportunities
- Provide technical assistance and support to parts employees
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Supervise purchasing, inventory, returns, shipping, and receiving processes
- Establish pricing strategies that balance profitability with customer loyalty
- Partner with Service and Body Shop Managers for efficient internal operations
- Conduct in-person customer visits and develop sales promotions
- Resolve customer complaints in line with company guidelines
- Enforce workplace safety standards and promote a culture of safety
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent work experience
- 4–6 years of related experience in parts management
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present to groups
Licenses & Certifications:
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (required)
- Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification (required)
- Valid Driver’s License (must meet company insurability standards)
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
- Must regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
