Senior Integration Developer bei Arobas Personnel

Arobas personnel is looking for a Senior Integration Developer for a contract with one of our clients located in Montreal. 

 *Remote : Hybrid- 100% Remote Canada wide, Same Time Zone (EDT/EST)* 

Your Role

As a Senior Integration Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable integration solutions across enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and other cloud-based platforms.
You’ll collaborate with Integration Architects, Data Engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow across the digital ecosystem, leveraging modern technologies like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Apigee X, and event-driven architectures.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain integration solutions using Java microservices on GCP.
• Develop secure and scalable APIs with Apigee X, following best practices in API lifecycle management.
• Use GCP Pub/Sub for event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Lead integration projects end-to-end — from design to production — ensuring performance, security, and resilience.
• Collaborate with architects and analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration flows, proactively addressing performance and reliability issues.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in large-scale enterprises (10,000+ employees).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in integration development and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Java (backend & microservices)
  • Google Cloud Platform (Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Functions)
  • Apigee X (API proxying, security, monitoring)
  • Postman and automated testing frameworks
• Solid knowledge of enterprise integrations (SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, SaaS platforms).
• Strong debugging/problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in manufacturing, transportation, automotive, or aerospace industries.
• Exposure to international, multi-site organizations.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, IAM policies, and API security best practices.

• Bilingual (French & English) or English-speaking.
