Position Overview:
The Engagement & Impact Team Coordinator supports and ensures smooth operations across fundraising campaigns, marketing initiatives and communication strategies. They ensure seamless cross-departmental collaboration, supporting projects from concept to completion on time and within scope. The Coordinator works closely with department leaders to set priorities, manage resources, and measure project success. This position will report to the Creative Director.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
- Coordinate and support multiple, simultaneous cross-departmental projects (primarily the direct mail, SMS, and email marketing campaigns).
- Support and maintain project plans, including timelines, task assignments, and resource allocations.
- Track metrics and analytics to report on campaign performance and audience engagement.
- Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and project goals are clear.
- Support and assist with donor databases and support record-keeping and timely donor acknowledgments.
- Assist with management of the Engagement & Impact team calendar, and help support logistics for team initiatives and events as needed.
- Attend and support regular meetings to track progress, address challenges, and adjust plans as necessary.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and ensure compliance with organizational and funding requirements.
- Identify any potential timeline challenges and work with team to develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure consistent communication and reporting to senior leadership on project status, timelines, and deliverables.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and accountability across teams.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and tools.
Requirements
Minimum Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field with at least 1 year of related experience OR 5 years of related experience in a similar or related function in comparable environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with CRM and data systems such as RaisersEdge, Tatango, Mailchimp, Classy.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Education/Experience
- 3-years of experience in administrative support, fundraising, marketing or communications, preferably within a non-profit or similar mission-driven organization.
- Experience with the applications RaisersEdge, Tatango, Mailchimp, and Classy.
- Experience working with fundraising/marketing-focused campaigns.
- Understanding of fundraising and marketing best practices in the nonprofit sector.
- Multilingual abilities
- Experience working with diverse communities
