Job Summary:
The Admissions Counselor is a mission-driven, enrollment-focused professional responsible for building relationships with prospective students and guiding them through the admissions process. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a commitment to daily execution, and the ability to engage each student with clarity, conviction, and care. Admissions Counselors serve as trusted guides—helping students and families navigate their decision-making with integrity and enthusiasm.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Performance Expectations:
This is a goal-oriented role. Counselors are expected to meet or exceed defined benchmarks for outreach volume, interview conversions, application generation, referral growth, and overall yield. Counselors are coached and evaluated based on consistent, measurable progress toward individual and team goals. A portion of performance metrics will reflect the counselor’s ability to generate and convert referrals through relationship-building and trust.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in admissions, sales, ministry, or service roles preferred
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication, relational, and persuasive skills

- Ability to learn quickly and speak fluently about program features, outcomes, and differentiators

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage a personal pipeline of students from inquiry to matriculation
- Execute daily outreach and follow-up through phone calls, texts, interviews, and events
- Build authentic relationships with students, parents, and influencers
- Overcome objections and guide decision-making using LBC’s distinctives and mission-aligned value proposition
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM
- Represent LBC at campus events, school visits, churches, and fairs
- Contribute to a referral-generating culture by creating exceptional experiences
- Participate in team huddles, coaching, and professional development sessions
- Maintain an active understanding of LBC’s academic offerings, pricing models, and value proposition
- Be “student-ready” by learning our competitors’ offerings and speaking confidently to why LBC stands apart
