Mallory is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our growing team in Seattle!

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the sales team of a company that has more than quadrupled in size over the past decade. We’re seeking a motivated and organized Account Manager to support one of our key partners on-site in Seattle. In this role, you’ll work directly with a leading aerospace manufacturer, building strong relationships with decision-makers, earning trust, and delivering tailored solutions that make an impact. Key Account Manager Job Duties:
 

  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with the assigned key customer to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand product and service offerings within the customer organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop customized solutions that align with customer goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, ensuring consistent communication and prompt resolution of issues or concerns.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, while maintaining deep knowledge of products, services, and industry trends.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with the customer to evaluate performance, explore new opportunities, and maintain alignment on objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze customer data to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend improvements or new initiatives.
  • Represent the company at tradeshows and in networking opportunities to strengthen industry relationships.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, tracking expenses, and submitting regular reports on account activity.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention by consistently delivering value and demonstrating the company’s commitment to their success.

Key Account Manager Desired Skills and Qualifications:
 

  • 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the safety/MRO space
  • Experience supporting aerospace customers is highly preferred
  • Safety and/or industrial distribution knowledge required
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills across a variety of platforms
  • Self-starter spirit and proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Intermediate to Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and other company software platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
