Reports to: Director of Operations
Supervises: Operations Lead, Operations Floater, Loader Associate, Trackman, Packing Associate, and Shipping/Receiving Associate
Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Work Schedule:
- Regular work hours are Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM, or during grading hours.
- Occasional Saturdays may be required for maintenance, repairs, or grading.
- Must be present during grading hours unless prior arrangements are made.
Purpose of Position:
The Operations Manager, has primary responsibility for supporting the Director of Operations by leading the Lebanon facility’s daily processes with efficiency and integrity. This role drives operational excellence, develops team members, and upholds Westfield Egg Farm’s core values while balancing business performance with employee well-being.

Essential Duties:
- Coordinate the efficient grading of eggs and warehouse processes at our Lebanon location.
- Ensure storage logistics, including cooler and dry storage at our Lebanon location are being effectively maintained.
- Foster an environment that consistently reflects and upholds Westfield Egg Farm’s core values.
- Execute and support strategic decisions made by the Director of Operations.
- Balance operational efficiency with employee well-being, ensuring both business and team needs are met.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide development feedback for direct reports.
- Perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Requirements
Position Requirements:
- Certification in HACCP food safety principles (or ability to obtain).
- Certified in or capable of obtaining power jack and forklift safety training.
- Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to guide teams toward defined goals and operational success.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Impeccable data entry skills
- Able to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
- Able to comprehend and implement operational documents such as SOPs and policy manuals.
- Skilled in writing clear and concise reports and correspondence.
- Comfortable presenting information and leading discussions with groups of employees.
- Basic mathematical proficiency, including the ability to perform operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Complete support of and willing adherence to Westfield Egg Farm’s mission, vision and core values. Applicant must hold these standards as his/her own.
Preferred Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the egg industry, including production and order fulfillment processes.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee is regularly required to move about the facility. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (egg boxes). The employee is required to seek assistance in the lifting of more than 50 pounds or use a forklift to lift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, soaps and/or chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to cold and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
