The BuzzFeed Animation Lab is seeking an Animation Production Coordinator to support a new Land of Boggs initiative, 3 days/week, starting September 22nd. This role reports directly to the Animation Project Manager and will support the entire team, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fun-loving team doing groundbreaking work in the online animation space.

You Will

• Main: Project Coordination 
• Be the primary point of contact between our Mumbai animation team and our US-based creative team i.e. setting up calls and agendas, taking notes if required, and gathering requested information
• Set up feedback processes and production timelines
• Help manage, organize, and maintain project assets 
• Help to identify problem areas and pose creative solutions
• Be the Project Manager’s additional support in creating, managing, and maintaining spreadsheets and documentation
• Be an integral part of the team by assisting in organizing comms across departments
• Additional
• Help maintain the Anim Lab’s website with monthly updates
• Help with deck creation for various initiatives
• May require one day a week to be able to do an evening call with our Mumbai team

You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communication, related, or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of 2D Animation & Production processes
• Great communication skills
• Experience with AI-driven or AI-enhanced workflows
• Proficiency in Google Apps, Microsoft Office
• Ability to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
• Must be organized, reliable and a self-starter
• Ability to work independently within a team
• Big fan of social media, animation, and our work!
