Position Summary:

Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Director of Operation to advise, assist and, support the Department of Defense Task Force 250 (DoD TF250). In this role, you will serve as a focal point for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to coordinate with the Services, the Joint Staff, DoD Agencies, DoD Activities, and other elements of the OSD to help plan, organize, and execute events to commemorate the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Operations lead in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to coordinate with the Services, the Joint Staff, DoD Agencies, DoD Activities, and other elements of the OSD to help plan, organize, and execute events to commemorate the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.
  • Work directly in support of the Executive Director of DoD TF250, coordinating with the White House Task Force on Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday, America 250 Semiquincentenial Commission, and other Federal, State, and Territorial entities focused on the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.
  • Execute special projects which support a broad range of operational services to DoD TF250. Research, organize, write, and edit action and information memorandums and briefings.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned and required by the Office.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS with ability to obtain an SCI
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • A minimum of 20 years’ relevant professional experience with recent and relevant experience within OSD in the last 3 years.
  • Ability to lead complex teams and support staff across diverse subject taskings.
  • Prior experience working with and/or supporting senior-level officials and knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSD and the Components.
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to objectively view requirements and evolve operations to maximize efficiencies.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Masters degree
  • High level of proficiency of the English language, both written and oral.
  • High Emotional Quotient (EQ) with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
