Command and Control Officer bei Avineon, Inc.

Avineon is seeking a Command and Control Officer to add to our team. The Command and Control Officer will manage the operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for controlling air, ground, and naval operations. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces.
• Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters.
• Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies.
• Evaluate command center information and need for high-level military and government reporting.
• Manage operation of surveillance and detection systems.
• Provide technical information and advice on capabilities and operational readiness.
• Direct operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems.
• Conduct intelligence analysis and cybersecurity-related tasks.
• Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Must have three to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree may be substituted for relevant experience. 
• Expertise in intelligence integration, technical intelligence, and space operations. 
• Experience in providing tactical through operational intelligence support for space programs, ISR operations, and familiarity with tools like Coliseum, SMART, CSRP, and MINERVA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military experience in a related field is highly valued and will be favorably considered.
• Candidates with applicable military training or operational experience aligned with the responsibilities of this role are encouraged to apply.

Security Clearance Requirement: 

• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Must meet Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility requirements.

Compensation:

Salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 with benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401k plan with matching contribution, tuition reimbursement, fitness club reimbursement, paid holidays, and paid personal time.
