Responsibilities
- The position’s primary focus will be to design H&W co-manufacturing strategy, secure supply, select our partners and develop best practices and procedures to improve our operational, supply-chain and financial performances. She/He will work in close collaboration with the procurement team, quality team legal department, Business Developers, Sales team and with the central supply chain functions at ADM.
- She/He will oversee Co-Manufacturing activities for all H&W with primarily objective Europe.
- Define and implement the supply chain co-manufacturing strategy for Europe H&W together with co-manufacturing procurement and quality management
- Strengthen the new way of working in co-manufacturing management and the co-manufacturing processes such as phase-in of a new co-manufacturer or new product introduction within the H&W organization
- Foster the stage gate process to support the “Make or Buy” decision and sourcing strategy with the procurement team
- Decide, recommend and adapt cooperation strategies with co-manufacturers (working methods, warehousing, End-to-End process mapping)
- Be accountable for co-manufacturing KPIs tracking, and monitoring the co-manufacturer’s performance and improvement across the full functional scope of production, forecasting, planning and replenishment of raw material together with the co-manufacturers
- Find the balance between service level OTIF and the right stock level while optimizing capacity utilization at the co-manufacturers
- You will be responsible for managing co-manufacturer activities for H&W (supporting cost reduction, inventory at co-manufacturer to become best in class in the industry)
- Ensure smooth, on-schedule planned production at the co-manufacturers, taking into account quality, regulatory compliance, economy and occupational safety
- Identify opportunities to simplify or improve the overall planning processes with the co-manufacturers to ensure efficiency
- Constant observation and further development of our co-manufacturer network
- Assessment of future requirements in relation to external co-manufacturers, systems, processes and people
- Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in our co-manufacturing processes
- Lead all agreed co-manufacturing related projects implementation (e.g. product transfer between two co-manufacturers or from co-manufacturer back to ADM plant) by respecting the budgets, schedules and standards quality of ADM, using the appropriate tools
- Support commercialization of new products and/or capabilities from concept to launch, conducting operations feasibility, and project management follow ups
- Build an international network within ADM H&W and other businesses to share best practices, particularly with SC worldwide, specifically with the NA region
Your Profile
- University degree or equivalent with a specialization in Supply Chain/Logistics or Business Administration.
- Experience of having worked in a similar capacity in an international company (logistics, distribution, sales, etc.).
- At least 5 years of experience in a supply chain function: logistics and planning function, manufacturing
- Financial understanding of key business factors, budget
- Good understanding and application of information systems and information technologies, supply chain tools (ERP, Microsoft Office, PowerBI)
- High affinity for digitization
- Project management skills and the ability to think strategically
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including the leadership team
- You are highly self-directed, with a strong creative problem-solving attitude
- Ability to move quickly from very detailed, rigorous work to the big picture
- Ability to work at a very fast pace
- You have leadership experience, change management, customer orientation and communication skills
- English will be essential. Fluency in market/regional languages is optional
