The Plant Operations Manager will manage and oversee all functions within the facility. This position requires a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for implementing, directing, and maintaining all facility policies and system processes. - Provide support to Department Managers to drive performance and achieve/maintain productivity, quality, and cost objectives.
- Assist in the formulation, recommendation, and implementation of operations policies.
- Responsible for implementing, directing, and maintaining all facility policies and system processes.
- Direct, motivate, and evaluate all members of management to ensure adherence to company culture, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate production activities with procurement and maintenance activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of associates, machines, plant capacity, and equipment.
- Revise production schedules and priorities to accommodate operational issues while meeting customer delivery requirements.
- Recommend and support manufacturing floor layouts in order to achieve optimal material flow in a cost-effective manner. Introduce new possible layouts to increase efficiency.
- Responsible for the development, review, and refinement of work strategies through the use of technology, resource management, and extrusion management.
- Serve as a liaison for human resource issues to ensure personnel policies are adhered to.
- Participate in personnel decisions concerning job performance, salary recommendations, and terminations.
- Monitor daily operations to assure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement specific plans, policies, and programs to deliver performance standards and process improvement results within a defined budget.
- Identify issues and utilizations of problem solving through 5S procedures to mitigate any issues that may arise
- Uphold a culture that supports open communication, creative thinking, teamwork, employee engagement, and trust.
- Responsible for the coordination and development of long range and annual business budgets/strategy.
- Monitor all business activities, including financial affairs, inventories and ensure the highest standards for product integrity.
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, profitability, and customer end employee satisfaction.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
The Plant Operations Manager position is responsible for supervising all department managers within the facility.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. e noise level in the manufacturing environment and job sites can be loud. The manufacturing work environment is not temperature controlled and the employee may be exposed to high heat work conditions.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
TRAVEL:
Occasional travel may be required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor Degree in Business or related field.
- 5 Years of operational management experience in manufacturing.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is required.
FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:
- Strong verbal, non-verbal, negotiation, and written communication skills are required.
- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work directly and indirectly with other staff members. Act as a member of a team.
- Able to follow instructions and production requirements.
- Able to act quickly when a problem arises; solve problems and make decisions as needed.
- The capacity to identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
- Ability to sustain a high degree of professionalism while interacting with internal and external customers.
- Basic computer skills and experience, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and additional ERP systems experience a plus.
