General Beverage Sales Milwaukee is a business-to-business wholesaler who distributes wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages and is currently accepting applications for a full time Customer Service. The primary responsibilities of this position are to answer customer calls and accurately place and process orders. The position holder will also be responsible for validating invoices, processing any issue orders or deliveries, and performing other general administrative office duties as assigned.



Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma and associate degree in related field preferred or equivalent professional work experience.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) as well as working knowledge of database applications.

• Effective and high-quality Customer Service/Relationship skills (examples: positive demeanor, developing rapport and establishing positive relationships, including “walk-ins”, phone, & email.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills and listening skills – must be able to explain information clearly, effectively, and in a timely manner.

• Effective organizational skills and time management skills including ability to prioritize and multi-task.

• Provide excellent customer service for product/order information, sales, and returns, including “walk-ins”, phone calls and e-mails.

• Execute all aspects of the sales function including purchase order processing, payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates - ensure accuracy of information being entered to guarantee correct item(s) are ordered.

• Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities.

• Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs.

• Collaborate with sales management team to determine the best methods to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to the organization’s policies. Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate departments.

• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
