Job Description: Hub Regional Manager
Reports to: Director of Ground Transportation
Compensation: Starting at $85,000 annual salary
Primary Sites: Albany, Philadelphia, Rochester, with additional support for NYC hub as needed
I. Position Overview
Trinity Medical Solutions is a 24/7/365 operation providing critical services to the organ donation and transplantation community. The Hub Regional Manager is responsible for leading and supervising ground transportation operations at the regional level.
This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and customer service, ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time transportation services. The Hub Regional Manager will oversee drivers, fleet operations, and day-to-day logistics while partnering with Trinity leadership to support growth, performance, and service excellence.
II. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of full-time and part-time drivers within the assigned hub/region
Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new drivers in partnership with HR and operations leadership
Conduct regular performance evaluations, audits, ride-alongs, and customer feedback reviews
Provide coaching, development, and corrective action as needed
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, retention, and service excellence
Operational Excellence
Oversee daily hub transportation operations to ensure safe and timely service delivery
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and SOPs using tools such as Samsara
Manage fleet maintenance schedules and records through Fleetio
Monitor driver statuses, attendance, and timecards for accuracy and compliance
Allocate vehicles and drivers effectively to maximize efficiency and safety
Respond to after-hours issues as part of a 24/7 operation; occasional weekend/evening calls expected
May assist with driving during staffing shortages (not a regular requirement)
Customer Service & Quality
Communicate effectively with OPOs, transplant centers, and other stakeholders
Investigate and resolve service issues, escalating when necessary
Assist with onboarding new customers requiring ground transport
Ensure customer-specific procedures are followed and corrective actions are implemented when needed
Communication & Collaboration
Actively participate in departmental and operational meetings
Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams across ground and air operations
Track and report key operational metrics to the Director of Ground Transportation, including P&L, trip volumes, error rates, third-party utilization, and staff retention
Additional Responsibilities
Support operations by driving missions when required (e.g., transporting medical teams, organs, specimens, or equipment)
Contribute to training resource development and updates
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including reducing reliance on third-party vendors
Represent Trinity’s mission, brand, and values in all communications
III. Qualifications
Education & Experience
Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or related fields
Prior supervisory and fleet management experience required
Experience in medical, aviation, or organ transplant-related transport preferred
Skills & Attributes
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel required)
Familiarity with Samsara, Fleetio, or similar fleet/safety systems preferred
High integrity, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Code 3 EVOC experience preferred
Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening and background check
Reliable transportation to/from work
Willingness to travel (25%–50%), including commercial flights and overnight stays
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit/drive for extended periods
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours as needed
Primarily office-based with required travel to hub locations
