Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. The Purpose:

As an Account Specialist, you will be at the forefront of client relationships, proactively anticipating and responding to their needs. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure projects run smoothly while contributing to the overall success of the business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to independently manage projects, provide key insights during discussions, and foster long-term relationships that drive value for our clients and the organization.

The Job:

  • Build and maintain strong, intentional relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact for client teams and internal teams.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams, providing timely updates, proactively addressing issues, and responding to changes in project scope or needs.
  • Anticipate and promptly respond to client needs, ensuring a positive and seamless client experience.
  • Participate in and contribute to client and team discussions, offering thoughtful insights that drive progress and strategic thinking.
  • Create, deliver, and present organized and well-researched work to internal teams and clients.
  • Independently manage tasks and projects, ensuring high levels of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Analyze data and feedback to draw conclusions, recognize challenges, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Follow up with clients during and after project delivery to ensure satisfaction and address any evolving needs.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update project information, including financials, within Czarnowski systems.
  • Assist with creation and management of project change orders, ensuring cost related approvals are documented and communicated with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with compiling and comparing estimated costs with actual incurred costs, providing detailed reports to project team.
  • Review all estimates and invoice drafts for accuracy prior to submitting to customers.
  • Understand client specified billing procedures and AP/Procurement specific client contacts to submit invoices and resolve unpaid invoices in a timely manner. 

The Person:

  • 2-3 years of experience in account management or client-facing roles, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Strong ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail.
  • Effective communicator, able to contribute to discussions with clarity and forward-thinking perspectives.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions based on data and research.
  • Committed to living Czarnowski’s values, ethics, and representing the company positively both internally and externally.
  • Open to providing and receiving constructive feedback and supporting the account team.
  • Some travel may be required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Marketing or Events environment is preferred but not required.
  • Pharmaceutical experience is preferred but not required.

 

Illinois Salary and Benefit Statement:

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Illinois if selected for the role. Any salary offered is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience.

Illinois Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000

This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan.
