The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes managing servers, networks, firewalls, cloud services, storage systems, and related technologies to ensure optimal security, performance, uptime, and scalability. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic planning to support business operations and future growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities may increase in scope to align with company initiatives

  • Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and firewalls
  • Ensure high availability, performance, security of infrastructure systems

  • Security & Compliance:
  • Support implementation and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR)
  •  
    Project Management:
  • Plan and execute infrastructure projects including patching, upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT and business initiatives

  • Vendor & Budget Management:
  • Manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors
  • Support development and management of infrastructure budgets, including forecasting and cost optimization

  • Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor system performance and availability using appropriate tools
  • Generate reports and metrics for senior leadership on infrastructure health and KPIs

  • Deep understanding of enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN)
  • Expertise in server and storage technologies (Windows/Linux, Netapp)
  • Familiarity in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk)
  • Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles and tools (e.g., endpoint protection, SIEM)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


  • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field With at least 3 years system and or network administration roles
  • OR
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years in systems and or network administrator capacity
  • Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, data storage and cybersecurity
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools preferred 
  • Preference will be given to those with relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, ITIL)


  • Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Adheres to consistent and predicable in-person attendance
  • Exposure to constant low-level equipment noise, and occasional high-level alarms
