American Crane & Equipment Corporation (ACECO) is seeking a Director of Sales to lead our Manufactured Products and Custom Cranes division. This high-impact role is responsible for building and executing proactive sales strategies, driving business development, and developing a high-performing sales team that consistently delivers results.
The Director of Sales will play a key role in achieving ambitious growth goals, ensuring the customer journey is seamless, and supporting ACECO’s vision as a leading supplier of high-quality manufactured products and custom cranes.

Schedule: Full-time hours | Monday – Friday 8:00am–4:30pm | Overtime as needed
Compensation: Competitive starting salary based on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do
- Lead sales operations for Manufactured Products and Custom Cranes, driving strategy, processes, and performance.
- Build a fully proactive sales team through improved processes, CRM expansion, KPIs, and best practices.
- Manage daily operations of the sales team, including hiring, training, equitable compensation design, and employee development.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports and set clear accountabilities.
- Partner with Marketing on product positioning, technical data, and customer materials.
- Oversee customer journey activities, project debriefs, and service/manufacturing support to improve outcomes.
- Develop and execute business development plans targeting new markets, products, and customers.
- Coordinate with the Innovation Lab to propose new product opportunities.
- Engage in professional development and utilize High Performing Team training to grow as a leader.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (required).
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineered-to-order environments.
- Proven record of driving significant revenue growth and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience with CRM platforms, sales KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
