Customer Success Operations Analyst

We're looking for a Customer Success Operations Analyst that can perform as a Gainsight admin. In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our Customer Success and Technical Account Management teams have the tools and data they need by configuring and optimizing our Gainsight instance.

 

What you’ll be doing 

Program Strategy & Execution

  • Assist the Customer Success Operations team by owning the Gainsight Environment: Be a go-to expert for Gainsight. You'll be responsible for the architecture and configuration of our Gainsight and Salesforce environments, including but not limited to, integrations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Translate Vision into Action: Work with Customer Success and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective application solutions. You'll help identify data sources, metrics, and workflows to support our strategic goals.
  • Enable the Team: Design and implement business rules that analyze customer data and trigger proactive actions for the Customer Success team. You’ll also manage user accounts, security settings, and provide day-to-day support to help the team get the most out of the platform.

Operational Excellence, Transformation, and Efficiency

  • Improve Processes: Partner with stakeholders and the internal operations team to identify and document key customer success processes. You’ll help us determine the most significant drivers of customer health and configure scorecards that reflect our customer data.
  • Drive Best Practices: Make recommendations to improve system efficiency and data integrity. You'll continuously monitor performance and user activity to make sure we’re using the platform in the most effective way possible.
  • Empower the Team with Data: Help the team understand and use data to identify risks and positive trends. You’ll be a champion for data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.

 

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BS or BA).
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience as a Gainsight Administrator is required (Gainsight certification preferred)
    • One or more years of Salesforce.com configuration and administration experience is preferred..
    • Experience in sales operations, business operations, or a customer-facing role like Customer Success or Account Management is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; the ability to break down ambiguous problems into manageable components.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
    • Deep understanding of object-oriented concepts and logic (IFs, ANDs, ORs).
    • Confidence in advocating for best practices and a high degree of ownership over your work.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$88,000$132,000 USD
