Office Manager (Onsite - Austin, TX) bei Togetherwork
Togetherwork · Austin, Vereinigte Staaten Von Amerika · Onsite
- Professional
- Optionales Büro in Austin
Role summary
Be the front-of-house host and operational owner for TW’s Austin hub. You’ll run a polished, reliable office; plan high-impact local events (employee events, team offsites, executive retreats); and create rituals that make work feel connected and productive—living our TW28 values of ownership, clarity, one-team collaboration, velocity, and raising the bar.
What you’ll do
- Own day-to-day office operations (access/badges, supplies, kitchen, mail, room norms, safety drills) and keep a simple, visible system so nothing slips.
- Serve as the face of the office: greet guests, support interview days and VIP visits, and set the tone for a warm, professional experience.
- Plan and run local events end-to-end (brief, budget, venue, travel blocks, run-of-show, AV, dietary, swag, post-mortem).
- Select and manage vendors (janitorial, snacks/catering, security, plants, coffee/water, venues); track POs and spend; find savings without lowering service.
- Partner with HR/IT to deliver a crisp day-1 onboarding and smooth workspace setups.
- Maintain safety/compliance basics and strong building relations; close loops quickly when issues arise.
- Build simple rituals that strengthen connection across teams (new-hire welcomes, demo days, volunteer days).
What makes you a fit
- You have 5–8 years of experience in office management, executive assistance, or workplace/event operations.
- You default to closing loops—creating clarity where it’s missing and finishing what you start.
- You run operations with checklists, SLAs, and clean comms; people know what’s happening and when.
- You balance hospitality with rigor: welcoming on the surface, exacting behind the scenes.
- You manage budgets like they’re your own and negotiate smartly with vendors.
- You’re a connector who makes cross-functional work feel easy and respectful.
- You stay calm under pressure, communicate crisply, and handle executives and sensitive info with discretion.
