What You'll Do  

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Administrative & Coordination Support
    • Developing and managing support channels for marketing initiatives and campaigns.
    • Assist in the facilitation of events and promotional activities.
    • Support the Marketing team with process improvement, ideation, and content review.
  • Project & Platform Oversight
    • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, including research, content creation, and performance tracking.
    • Assist in coordinating marketing swag, supplies, and promotional materials for internal and external events.
    • Assist in oversight and management of various data collection systems used by the team, including building and maintaining quality control processes.
  • Team & Organizational Engagement
    • Engage with team members to conceptualize and execute marketing projects.
    • Assist in the development of process and procedures to support marketing operations.
    • Support organizational development initiatives related to brand engagement and culture.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-trust relationships and maintain confidences.
  • High level of agility, ownership, accountability, and hospitality.
  • Current Canvas employees must be meeting performance expectations and consistently demonstrating HEART behaviors to be considered. 

Education or Formal Training: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or institution or specialized work program.

Experience: Minimum of two years of marketing experience in related industry.

The starting pay range for this position is $21.73-$25.00/hour, and final pay rate will be determined based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity factors. Canvas benefits include:

Working Environment/Physical Activities

High volume, fast-paced, dynamic office environment with some travel.  Must be able to attend meetings and events outside of regular business hours.  The job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, fax machines and filing cabinets.  The position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.  The position requires bending, stooping, or standing as necessary.
