Position Duties

As Supervisor, Building Control, you are a technically proficient and detail-oriented problem solver who thrives under pressure. You excel in managing and coordinating various building systems and emergency responses, ensuring safety, functionality, and adherence to security protocols. With strong communication and supervisory skills, you effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders, exhibiting adaptability, a commitment to safety and security, and a proactive approach to continuously improving facility management.

What you will do:

  • Ensure continuous operation of Energy Management Systems, including monitoring and addressing HVAC and energy-related issues.
  • Monitor and respond to audio and visual alarms from Fire/Security and Life Safety systems, conducting routine tests and coordinating maintenance with outside contractors.
  • Manage radio and telephone communications for routine and emergency activities, log occurrences, and dispatch information to relevant parties.
  • Provide secondary supervision for Facilities units and contractors, conducting inspections, issuing work orders, and overseeing snow removal, airfield lighting, electrical distribution, elevator, and escalator systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in aviation management, computer systems, or equivalent, along with the ability to communicate effectively in emergency situations.
  • 5-7 years of facilities operations experience.
