HR Manager
We are looking for a HR Manager for our Charlotte, NC facility. In this role you will focus on Recruitment/ Selection, Employee Relations, and administration of the Barmag Human Capital Management and Salary/ Bonus Review processes. This position will also work with process owners to identify paths for issue resolution and escalation as well as general process improvement as a HR business partner to internal clients in the US. The Manager of Human Resources will also work closely with business users on HR topics and as directed to ensure compliance, standardization, and uniform delivery of HR processes. The Manager of Human Resources will be expected to collaborate with the international HR team members on a regular basis as a HR team member. The Manager of Human Resources, will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of all projects, reports, etc.
Your Responsibilities:
- Supporting the establishment of Barmag USA as an independent entity for HR processes (payroll, benefits, administration) within the framework of an M&A project (carve-out).
- Works through a global governance model to ensure consistency and standardization while supporting local business needs and requirements.
- Acts as a key point of contact for managers and employees re: all Barmag American HR topics
- Ensures all HR processes and procedures are documented and stored in a central documentation repository as directed
- Responsible for maintaining various HR KPIs and ensuring timely and accurate reporting Regionally and Globally as directed
- Provides Corporate and Ethical leadership example to all managers and employees
- Work, think, and act in a business capacity with regards to performing HR responsibilities with a Customer Service Mindset
- The key interface between the Business and global HR community aligning the needs of the business and group people strategies
- Work with payroll provider for compensation validation and handle payroll return notifications from State / Federal jurisdictions
- Lead or support benefits negotiations / administration as needed
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources Management is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Experience Substitutes.
- 8-10 years Human Resources experience with experience supporting multi-site manufacturing/production operations
- Direct Talent Acquisition experience is required
- Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of HR systems including performance management, recruiting tools, payroll and benefits systems
- Willing to be flexible to complete projects and support HR department to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A strong professional who is ethical, goal-oriented, hardworking, customer-service oriented, and a team-player/ collaborator
