About the Role

As our Digital Marketing Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning, executing and optimising digital campaigns to promote awareness, engagement, and support for White Ribbon Australia’s mission. Located in Cannington, this role is offered on a 5 month fixed term full time basis covering parental leave, with potential to extend.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and working closely with the White Ribbon team, you'll create content across various digital channels and help position our advocacy efforts in a meaningful and measurable way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and implement digital marketing campaigns including SEO, EDMs, and social media strategy

  • Review, manage and update digital platforms, including our WordPress website (Elementor)

  • Create engaging content, visuals, and videos (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro)

  • Analyse data and report on performance, impact, and ROI

  • Work closely with internal teams, partners, media, and agencies

  • Monitor industry updates, identify trends and audience insights to evolve our digital presence

  • Provide advice on policy matters related to Marketing.

 

What You’ll Bring

You’ll hold a tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field, or possess equivalent experience gained through hands-on roles in the sector. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a deep commitment to social justice and a passion for advancing White Ribbon Australia’s mission to end gendered violence. In addition, your experience will reflect:

  • Digital marketing expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing digital campaigns, with a strong grasp of emerging trends and audience engagement strategies.

  • Technical proficiency: Confident use of platforms including WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, Salesforce/Pardot, and Google Analytics to drive performance and insights.

  • Content and communications: Exceptional copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadline.

  • Campaign delivery and SEO: Demonstrated success in managing SEO strategies, social media channels, and advocacy communications that amplify impact.

  • Stakeholder engagement: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships across internal teams and external partners.

You may also bring additional strengths that will enhance your impact in this role, such as knowledge of advocacy marketing and experience working within the family and domestic violence sector, broader social services, or social movements. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Funraisin, and video editing tools will be highly regarded.
