Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join our team supporting operations at a large government aligned site in Berkshire Park. This is an on-site role where you will be part of a team of three, working closely together to manage day-to-day facilities requests, support reporting processes, and ensure services run smoothly.
The position is well suited to someone who is process-oriented, organised, and collaborative, with an ability to follow established procedures while delivering excellent customer service 🤝. You’ll also need to be comfortable with technology 💻 as the role involves scheduling, reporting, and using communication tools such as Teams, Excel, and CMMS systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for maintenance and facilities requests.
- Manage and maintain CMMS systems for preventative and reactive work orders.
- Support the Facilities Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Conduct inspections and contribute to compliance reporting.
- Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and site stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with client meetings, reporting, and minute-taking.
- Contribute as a supportive and reliable member of a close-knit team.
Education, Experience & Skills
Essential:
- Previous experience in facilities coordination, administration, or similar.
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and process.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a small team and build strong relationships.
Desirable:
- Experience in correctional, government, or high-security environments.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems.
- Trade background or facilities management qualifications.
