Join our team as a Quality Coordinator!
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Quality Department with administrative tasks such as compiling data and communicating results, completing customer surveys, generating reports, managing Excel spreadsheets, overseeing the calibrated equipment program, and document control.
M-F 8 hours
Protolabs offers a competitive total rewards package, and compensation mix vary based on position, such as base wage, as well as other earnings including incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, job function, work experience, specialized skills, training, education, and certifications.
What you will do
Compile quality information and communicate to internal and external customers
Read, understand, and respond to quality surveys from customers including coordinating responses from other departments
Assist with document control; ensuring document security, approving change requests, final formatting review, posting approved documents for use, and record retention within the document management system
Coordinate the company calibration program including working with external vendor(s) and various departments to ensure equipment is calibrated according to schedule, purchasing new equipment, coordinating equipment repairs,and maintaining the calibrated equipment databases.
Provide administrative support for quality audits and other projects
Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures
Perform additional tasks as assigned
What it takes
High School Diploma
Office experience in a manufacturing industry or quality setting preferred
Strong communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong administrative skills
Ability to communicate to individuals and teams at all levels of the organization
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsive, proactive and self-starter
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
Bonus to have
Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel skills and reporting
Experience with Document Control and Record Retention systems, such as M-files
Experience conducting internals audits to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or AS9100
