Description

Are you looking for?

  • Time back in your day
  • Flexible schedule including work-from-home options
  • Paid time off
  • Fun working environment
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Growth & development

If you’re energized by helping people and businesses sleep better at night, you’ll love this role. As FNIC’s next Production Agent, you’ll design and deliver tailored risk management programs across Commercial Select Lines (small commercial; < $3,000 in agency revenue)—and you’ll nurture a dedicated book of business with proactive, white-glove service.

What you’ll do

Inside Sales (˜30% of your time)

  • Build and work a qualified pipeline: prospect, schedule appointments, complete applications, and deliver compelling sales presentations for small-commercial and personal lines opportunities.
  • Partner smart: route larger/complex leads to a Sales Executive/Sales Leader through the proper channels; stay close to the opportunity and client relationship throughout the pipeline.
  • Design and implement risk management programs, directing the full range of FNIC resources for each client.
  • Be the client’s advocate: coordinate resolution of claim/coverage questions, appraisals, and audits—keeping clients fully informed.
  • Handle the business side: arrange payment terms in line with agency credit and collections policies.
  • Stay competitive: keep current on market trends and leverage agency selling aids.
  • De-risk the details: review client contracts, advise on endorsements/coverage modifications for compliance, and work to eliminate gaps that could create E&O exposure.
  • Show up in the community: represent FNIC at professional and community events.

Servicing (˜70% of your time)

  • Own your book end-to-end: manage new business and renewals per agency procedures; negotiate terms and conditions; review quotes, prepare proposals, and bind coverage.
  • Execute flawlessly: prepare proposals; issue certificates and auto ID cards; order/process endorsements, audits, binders; invoice premium transactions promptly.
  • Be responsive: handle client questions quickly and thoroughly; communicate clearly with clients, carriers, and the FNIC team.
  • Run a tight ship: maintain complete, accurate electronic files and fully utilize the agency management system in your daily workflow.
  • Deliver quality: prioritize to meet service standards; request help when needed; complete quality reviews and follow agency/department procedures.
  • Build carrier relationships: meet regularly and maintain effective working relationships with company representatives.
  • Safeguard data: protect confidentiality at all times, including Protected Health Information (PHI); follow safety, security, and quality requirements.
  • Keep learning: pursue continuing education via newsletters, seminars, bulletins, trade publications, and other opportunities.
