Position Overview

The Ticketing Operations Manager is an important member of the Ticketing team, within the Walton Arts Center’s Communications Department. This role works with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper performance setup in AMP’s primary ticketing system (Ticketmaster), ensuring successful on-sales for the Walton Arts Center and Walmart AMP constituencies. Additionally, this role may work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to provide accurate reporting and constituent lists for Walton Arts Center and Walmart AMP shows. This role reports directly to the Director of Ticketing. 

Requirements

     

Principal   Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Walmart   AMP

  • Build all shows for Walmart AMP (AMP) season in Ticketmaster (Host, TM1, and Archtics)
  • Monitor and test during AMP presales and on-sales via the web and client 
  • Setup special offers, re-zone or adjust scaling for AMP shows
  • Execute dynamic pricing for AMP shows
  • Provide daily reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide reconciliation reporting for AMP Client shows and events
  • Create lists for internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Provide show sheets for Box Office with pre-sale, on-sale information, promos and special offers
  • Manage ticket holds, inventory, manifests, and pricing for the life of the show. 
  • Provide timely tour communication
  • Prepare Scanner Configurations in TM1 Entry
  • Maintain user permissions and access in Ticketmaster
  • Pull and submit data for collector’s tickets post event

Walton   Arts Center

  • Assist in checking new show builds for Walton Arts Center (WAC) in Tessitura
  • Assist with testing pre-sales and on-sales online and in the client
  • Assist with building WAC shows, addons, packages, and promos when needed in Tessitura
  • Assist with reporting in Tessitura
  • Assist with tour communications

General   Duties

  • Represent Walton Arts Center / Walmart AMP at both on and off-site events, as   requested.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with teammates, fellow staff members from   other departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor 
  • Provide on-call support for events after hours as needed.
  • Maintain security and safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines. 
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum   Qualification

A minimum of 3 years in Ticketing, Box Office, or equivalent Customer Service role, and a working knowledge of the Ticketmaster software suite   (Archtics, TM1, Host) and Tessitura or similar ticketing software preferred. 

Education, Training, Traits

  • Working knowledge and proficiency of Ticketmaster or equivalent ticketing system
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive
  • Ability to learn new technologies easily
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the field
  • Comfortable with consistently adhering to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and   confidentiality
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing   exemplary customer service
  • Detail Oriented and well organized
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to interact with many different types of people
  • Ability to work independently as well as with others to carry out assignments
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other   federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or   quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state   and local standards

Physical

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly (on telephone)
  • Must have a working cell phone and be willing to install basic applications and be willing to use it for work   purposes
  • Must be able to endure sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to endure standing or walking for extended periods of time on various surfaces such as concrete, grass, and inclined surfaces. 
  • Must be able to endure outdoor elements including cold, heat, wind, and/or precipitation
  • Must be able to work in large, crowded environments, with flashing lights, loud music and noises, pyrotechnics, and cannons as part of shows and events
