Position Summary
The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process ensuring that our company builds and maintains a skilled workforce to meet production goals. This role requires an understanding of skilled labor environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Position Details
- Temporary-Full-time for a period of 12 months.
- This position reports to the Human Resources Manager in Springfield, Missouri.
- This is an onsite recruiter position.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers, leadership, and Human Resources to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates using a variety of methods, including job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and community outreach.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate interview processes with hiring managers.
- Manage the candidate pipeline for manufacturing roles, ensuring timely communication with applicants.
- Attend career fairs, industry events, and community workforce programs to promote employer brand and attract talent.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Coordinator or Generalist to ensure smooth new hire onboarding experience.
- Maintain recruitment metrics, track applicant flow, and provide regular reports on hiring progress.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company hiring practices.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and retention.
- Execute other tasks as assigned.
- Some occasional travel for recruitment events or weekend work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least two years of experience working in Recruitment or Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting or performing high-volume recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and recruiting best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to build and foster relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and community partners.
