Position Title: Sales & Outreach Specialist
Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing
Location: Santa Marta / 13875 West 115th Terrace, Olathe, KS
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary
The Sales & Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in driving occupancy and community awareness by building relationships, coordinating outreach efforts, and guiding prospective residents and families through the decision-making process. This position combines sales, marketing, and customer service skills to ensure that the community is positioned as the preferred choice for assisted living in the local market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing
- Manage and follow up with all inquiries, leads, and referrals in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct community tours and presentations for prospective residents and families, showcasing the benefits, amenities, and services offered.
- Guide prospective residents and their families through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to move-in.
- Maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database with accurate and updated information.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute sales plans that meet or exceed occupancy goals.
- Collaborates with the Assisted Living Nurse Manager to align sales, assessments, and move-in processes for optimal resident outcomes.
Outreach & Community Engagement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral partners (physicians, hospitals, senior centers, rehabilitation facilities, faith organizations, etc.).
- Represent the community at networking events, health fairs, chamber of commerce activities, and other outreach opportunities.
- Coordinate on-site events, open houses, and educational seminars to promote community visibility.
- Build and maintain a positive reputation within the local market by engaging with residents, families, and community leaders.
Administrative & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and outreach reports for leadership.
- Track occupancy goals, conversion ratios, and outreach activities.
- Support marketing campaigns (digital, print, and social media) in partnership with the marketing team.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or outreach, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the assisted living industry and regulatory environment a plus.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed for events or tours.

- Ability to travel locally for outreach and networking events.
- Night or weekend events may occur
