Primary Purpose
The Student Success Systems Manager will serve as the Slate Captain - the primary functional and technical expert - for the Slate CRM admissions instance and is a key member of the Student Success Operations team. This role leads the design and implementation of recruitment and enrollment processes across units, driving continuous improvement and effective communication. Through strategic use of technology, the position enhances the student experience, streamlines workflows, ensures data integrity, and supports institutional goals through collaboration and analysis.
Job Function
- Serve as the Slate CRM lead for managing system configurations, workflows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with enrollment services units to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement technology-driven solutions.
- Maintain and enhance Slate portals, forms, events, communications, and data flows to support student success and enrollment operations.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with university data governance policies through regular audits and quality control processes.
- Liaise with IT and other campus stakeholders to support system integrations between Slate and the Student Information System (SIS).
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation for Slate users within the University.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Stay current with Slate platform updates, best practices, and community resources to continuously improve system usage.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and committees to align system capabilities with institutional goals.
- Document business processes, system configurations, and operational procedures for internal reference and training.
- Assist with data imports, exports, and reporting needs to support enrollment and student success initiatives.
- Support strategic planning and project execution related to CRM enhancements and operational improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the Office of the Registrar and Student Success Operations.

Required Qualifications
Master's and 1+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.Department Requirements:
- Advanced experience managing systems/CRMs (Slate CRM expertise required)
- Extensive experience with systems operations, database management, and process development, especially as they relate to ERP and CRM systems.
- Experience working with various databases and office applications including Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge in areas such as business process design and business operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Project management and organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.
- Must have capability to multi-task and maintain high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated successful ability to collaborate and build strong effective working relationships across departments/offices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant experience working in higher education, business, operations or related field.
- Experience working in an admissions or enrollment area with knowledge of admissions policies, procedures, and terminology.
- Experience as a functional lead on an implementation project for an enterprise level software.
