Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Since 2005, we have grown to become one of the largest surface mines in Australia, whilst continuing to foster a culture underpinned by safety, achievement, flexibility and teamwork to improve the skills of each and every person on the mine site every day. Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager/SSE this role is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and offers variety and challenging work across a broad range of HR and IR/ER functions. It will allow you to contribute to the effective implementation of the Glencore Coal Assets Australia HR strategy at Rolleston Open Cut.

You’ll get involved in a variety of HR strategies and initiatives, ranging from coaching and supporting frontline leaders, IR/ER management, facilitating and conducting investigations, as well as contributing to events such as Family Days that promote and support not only our employees, but our local communities as well.
