Are you a strategic leader who lives at the intersection of modern work and custom application development? We are looking for a Practice Lead to drive our team forward, blending deep technical expertise with a passion for innovation. You'll be a key driver in how our clients transform their businesses using the latest Microsoft technologies, from AI-powered chatbots to collaborative tools and beyond. 

The Opportunity 

As the Practice Lead for our Microsoft AI Business Solutions practice, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our strategic direction and lead a talented team of consultants. This isn't a role about managing two separate silos—it's about creating synergy. You will be responsible for defining and delivering integrated solutions that empower our clients with a modern, productive workplace while building the custom applications they need to compete. 

Your role will be a critical blend of technical leadership, business development, and team mentorship. You'll work closely with senior leadership to set the vision for our service offerings, engage in high-value client projects, and ensure our teams are equipped to deliver excellence. 

What You'll Do 

  • Drive strategic direction: define and execute the strategy for our Modern Work and Application Development practices, fostering a cohesive and integrated approach to client solutions. 
  • Lead and manage your team of consultants:
    provide strategic direction, mentorship, and day-to-day oversight to ensure your team delivers innovative, high-quality solutions. Foster a collaborative environment where consultants are empowered to grow and succeed. 
  • Manage practice growth: take ownership of team utilisation and performance by monitoring capacity, aligning resources with project demands, and fostering a culture of accountability. 
  • Oversee project delivery: guide the design, development, and delivery of solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Application Modernisation, custom applications, integrations, and generative AI. 
  • Lead pre-sales and growth: drive new business through technical pre-sales engagements, including solution architecture, client workshops, and proposal development. 
  • Build client relationships: cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions that exceed expectations. Willingness to travel for client engagements when required ensures responsive and hands-on support. 
  • Actively engage in key projects: serve as a billable resource for strategic and high-value customer engagements, demonstrating expertise and setting a standard for delivery. 


Who You Are 

You are a visionary leader who is passionate about technology and solving complex business problems. You have a knack for connecting with people, both clients and team members, and can articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms. You are a strategic thinker who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on. 

What You'll Bring 

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in IT consulting, application development, or modern workplace transformation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
  • Technical expertise: proven experience in pre-sales and solution architecture with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform), Azure, and emerging technologies like generative AI. 
  • Leadership skills: demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and manage complex client relationships. 
  • Communication: exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present compelling technical solutions. 
  • Problem-Solving: a strategic and innovative mindset with a track record of fostering continuous improvement. 
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical or business field.
