We began providing residential services to individuals living with disabilities in 1977, and in 1984 became the first non-governmental entity in Minnesota to offer waiver case management. Position Overview

The Case Aide supports the Community Living Services team in delivering person-centered services in accordance with MN 245D and the Positive Supports Rule. Reporting to the Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager, this role provides administrative, organizational, and direct support functions to ensure quality care for individuals served.

  • Job Type: Part-Time (.5 FTE, 20 hours/week)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4–5 hours/day between 9 AM–5 PM

  • Pay: Starting at $18/hour (DOE)

  • FLSA: Non-Exempt

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Office Support

  • Complete general office tasks: filing, faxing, paperwork prep, and mailings

  • Maintain and distribute client lists and client coverage for the division

  • Perform data entry and assist with report preparation (quarterly, semi-annual, annual)

  • Prepare and track billing logs (e.g., for SILS services)

  • Provide office coverage, including mail handling and front desk reception

Client & Program Support

  • Schedule team meetings in compliance with licensing timelines

  • Attend meetings as needed to support individuals served

  • Assist in documentation for Monthly Reviews of Objectives

  • Provide transportation for clients (e.g., to banks, appointments, activities)

  • Assist with individual contacts and follow-ups when assigned staff are unavailable

  • Support training for new and transitioning staff 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Age 18 or older

  • High school diploma + 1-year post-secondary education OR 1 year experience in admin, case aide, or similar role

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

  • Ability to perform sedentary work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record

  • Ability to pass DHS and OIG background checks

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with MN 245D regulations

    • Knowledge of billing or time reporting systems

    • Associate’s degree or higher

    • Human Services experience
