The Technical Operator will be accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, pieces of equipment and operational decisions at line level to achieve targets and coordinate resources as required.
What are we looking for?
Minimum 1 Year Manufacturing Experience (Essential):
Proven hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is required
Mechanical Training or Background (Essential):
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex mechanical systems
Machinery Disassembly & Reassembly:
Skilled in dismantling machinery to analyze components and functionality, and reassembling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Microsoft Outlook & Excel Proficiency:
Competent in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel for communication, reporting, and data analysis.
Team Leadership/Coordination (Desirable):
Experience in leading or coordinating small teams of associates is highly valued.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Lead first-line maintenance for multiple production machines, making operational decisions to meet production targets.
Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns using appropriate tools and methods to identify root causes.
Take ownership of the performance and reliability of several machines, processes, or equipment.
Coordinate, coach and support a small team of operators and temporary associates to ensure line targets are consistently achieved.
Assist operators with daily production tasks to maintain smooth and efficient line operations.
