Product Director, RGM Solutions - EMEA
As a senior member of the o9 Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team, you will drive our consumer products industry oriented software product design and development. You will be an experienced product director, able to bring both the strategic vision and executional rigor needed to create a market-leading SaaS solution spanning commercial planning and advanced analytics capabilities in both general merchandise and grocery retail industries. In addition, you will provide expertise and thought leadership to both our clients and our sales & marketing teams. You will work closely with other departments and business stakeholders like sales, business development, senior executives, client services, presales and others as necessary in a cross-functional manner. Key success measures are the creation of an aligned and resourced product roadmap, on-time execution of that roadmap and client satisfaction.
What you’ll do
This is a strategic leadership role, accountable to the VP Product - RGM solutions, where you will be responsible for a software development team of initially up to 6 people.
In this role you will be expected to co-define product strategy and roadmap for o9 participation in the revenue growth management and commercial planning solutions space, taking account of needs of both current and prospective clients, particularly in the CPG industry
You are the ‘’Go-to’’ person for Revenue Growth Management technology solutions expertise and able to drive differentiated messaging and value propositions for clients
You are comfortable defining detailed business requirements, and solution logic that can be translated effectively into technical product design by developers
You are able to drive the on-time delivery of your product roadmap
You are responsible for assisting with creation of industry-specific content such as whitepapers, blogs, POV and value messaging to drive growth in specific industries.
You will strongly align with business stakeholders for understanding and supporting business objectives
You will directly support client transformation program delivery where required, with sufficient technical literacy to function as a solution strategist and suitable interpersonal skills to function effectively in a client facing environment
You will develop industry best practices, deployment methodologies, critical success factors
What you'll have
We are looking for an experienced enterprise software product manager with at least 12 years experience in the business planning and revenue growth management solution domains – either client or vendor side acceptable, with particular focus on CPG industry.
You have a Masters degree in mathematics, engineering, physical or computer sciences discipline
You should be experienced in translating high level strategy that you have defined into target business processes, software solution concepts that support these processes, and building detailed logical designs that can be quickly and accurately interpreted by development teams
You should be comfortable engaging at a technical level with developers on core database concepts in a ‘coding language agnostic’ way (such as measures, schemas, data flows, data science principles)
You should be experienced in good product design and documentation practices
You should have a strong conceptual understanding and grounding in core revenue management analytical concepts, as well as business planning and performance management processes in the CPG industry
You should have strong oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical people, and be comfortable leading occasional client-facing interactions
You should be fluent in English, other languages always valued
