Join our dynamic team at American Forest Management, Inc. (AFM) as an Administrative Assistant responsible for providing crucial administrative support to our forestry personnel in a client-focused forest management business. Reporting directly to the Broker in Charge, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency. This position will be closely working with the Broker in Charge, Region Manager and Director of Northern Operations.

AFM’s team of professionals is focused on meeting client needs by providing a complete range of forestry services including land and wildlife management, land sale and acquisition services, forest inventory and design, growth and yield modeling, cash flow projections, environmental and farmland services, appraisal, forest resource data management and harvest scheduling.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support
- Communicate with buyers, sellers, vendors, and the public in a professional manner
- Review contracts and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and edit listing packages, proposals, and marketing materials
- Maintain and organize files and records in SharePoint and other platforms
- Track deadlines, monitor workflow tasks, and follow up on agent assignments
- Support audit preparation and compliance documentation
- Assist with the creation of reports, presentations, and internal communications
- Prepare materials or agendas for internal and external meetings
- Undertake additional administrative related duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, Word) and cloud-based file systems
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality with both customer and internal information.
- Ability to foster strong team relationships with managers, colleagues, clients, vendors and customers.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong ability to prioritize workload effectively.
