Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; Monday-Friday

Position Summary:
The Clinical Education Manager is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of clinical education as requested by directors. This position will facilitate, precept, and mentor staff and team members to grow professionally and advance their competency with knowledge and skills.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs that support organizational goals, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.
- Ensure education programs align with competency frameworks, licensure requirements, and clinical best practices.
- Identify training needs through assessments, performance data, and leadership feedback.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and simulations for nursing and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate training records and certification tracking.
- Lead clinical competency assessment processes, including initial validation and ongoing annual competencies.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure staff are meeting required skill levels and regulatory standards.
- Ensure educational content meets standards set by CMS, The Joint Commission, state licensing boards, and professional practice guidelines.
- Prepare reports and documentation to support accreditation and survey readiness.
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS), simulation equipment, and e-learning tools to enhance training.
- Stay updated with advancements in clinical education technologies and methodologies.
- Assist with the clinical education budget in collaboration with finance and leadership.
- Ensure appropriate allocation of resources, materials, and equipment for educational activities.
- Presents a working knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
- Promote, facilitate, and provide education about new practice changes, regulatory requirements, new equipment and skills to team members on the units.
- Oversee students throughout organization, including student/college requests through final evaluation after rotations are completed.
- Develop and review contracts with universities for student clinicals.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Position Requirements:
- Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree in nursing preferred.
- Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification.
- 3+ years patient care experience.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Expert proficiency with computers is required.
- Excellent clinical skills and problem-solving skills required.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function independently and prioritize multiple projects.
- Knowledge of computers, learning management systems, and audio-visual equipment.
- Knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, and OSHA requirements for education.
- Ability to have continuous oral and written communication with co-workers and supervisors is essential.
