Job Description:

This position will be on the production floor and responsible for the following:

  • Providing support with the implementation of identified actions for process improvement. 
  • Supporting the education and coaching of employees on Lean initiatives while building and supporting a Lean culture.
  • Assisting all departments with their identified CI projects
  • Assisting with managing a tracker to ensure projects are in line and being completed on-time. 
  • Aiding in the validation of stability criteria and coordinating audits with operation Team Leads to ensure sustainment of the standard. 
  • Assisting operations with maintaining process standards (Work Instructions, Process Maps, Standardize Work, 6S). 
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/ GED Required
  • Associates Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
  • LEAN Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in LEAN or continuous improvement roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistic settings
  • Lean Management experience, to include strong leadership skills, ability to build and lead teams to attain objectives & performance, ability to coach and develop others
  • Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint (Reports, Pivot Tables, Macros), Excel, Auto Cad
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (technical writing skills)
  • Knowledge of policies, programs, regulations and procedures; as they relate to ISO standards and procedures
  • Safely and efficiently operating forklift: Loading and unloading pallets
