LIEN PROCESSING SPECIALIST

ProCo LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Lien Processing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team. This entry-level position focuses on accurate processing of medical liens to protect our organization's revenue from personal injury cases across our 21-location network.
Key Responsibilities
Document Processing
- Review and process medical liens following established procedures
- Enter lien data accurately into NextGen, FileMaker Pro, and Rapid systems
- Create and mail Notice of Intent documents with proper shipping methods
- File liens electronically with court systems
- Update patient charts with current lien statuses
- Process lien satisfactions when accounts are paid
Quality Control
- Double-check all data entry for accuracy
- Follow detailed procedures for document organization
- Maintain daily work logs and meet accuracy standards
- Track and follow up on returned mail
Communication
- Handle routine phone calls and emails about lien status
- Coordinate with team members on rush requests
- Transfer complex inquiries to appropriate staff
- Maintain professional communication with all parties
Performance Goals
- Process 97% of liens within 90-day timeline
- Complete 95% of Notice of Intent documents by day 59
- Handle 100% of rush requests same-day
- Process 93% of paid lien satisfactions within 14-21 days
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Typing speed of 35+ WPM
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous medical billing or legal document processing experience
- Familiarity with personal injury cases
- Multi-system data entry experience
