JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position Title:   Territory Manager South

Reports To:       Vice President Sales and Operations, LLS India

Role Type:          Individual Contributor

Location:           Chennai

 

 

Purpose of the role:

Drive sustained profitable growth in the assigned territory aligned with organization strategy to ensure long term success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the Business results (Order Intake, Revenue and Profitability) for assigned territory and direct customers.
  • Create territory, distributor and key customer business growth plan and drive the actions to achieve business results.
  • Identify the gaps in geographical coverage and segment coverage and create plans to improve the network coverage and segment growth.
  • Drive distributor sales and service engineers’ activities with identified distributor key accounts.
  • Identify and generate the new business opportunities in terms of new products, new applications, new customers.
  • Implement SKF segment/customer strategy and Key processes like Funnel& Visit Management, Key account management and territory management through CRM tool.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive information to management.
  • Demonstrate and drive compliance to company code of conduct, ethics, policies & statuary & legal requirements.
  • Develop relationship in customer organization to strengthen SKF businesses and preferences.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or B.Tech. Post-graduation in Management will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Applications and Segments
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic, Piping and Instrumentation
  • Ability to work with cross-functional team.
  • Ability to create the value proposals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, networking and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
