Description
Procure Analytics is seeking a Senior Software Quality Analyst who is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions across both modern web platforms and legacy AS400 systems. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our Epic Source-To-Pay application suite meets the highest standards before reaching production, supporting critical business operations and contributing to our ongoing modernization efforts.
Epic delivers a comprehensive set of easy-to-use tools to automate its customers Purchasing process and manages the integration with customers’ existing ERP.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement QA best practices, processes, and tools to support scalable, reliable testing.
• Design and execute manual and automated test plans for both web and AS400-based applications.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into comprehensive test scenarios, including both positive and negative cases.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand business processes and ensure alignment with testing coverage.
• Lead and coordinate QA efforts across multiple projects; estimate timeframes, dependencies, and resource needs.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clarity and detail throughout the test lifecycle.
• Continuously maintain and update test case libraries; contribute to test automation strategy and implementation.
• Run performance and load tests; analyze results and recommend improvements.
• Monitor key quality metrics to ensure ongoing production stability and user satisfaction.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our SDLC and QA processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality management system standards, and promote an inclusive, non-discriminatory work environment.
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on QA experience across all phases of the testing lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience testing AS400-based applications, particularly in environments undergoing modernization.
• Proficiency in testing web-based applications and handling structured data formats such as XML/JSON.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
