Position Summary:
The Plumbing, Sewer & Drain Sales Manager isresponsible for driving sales performance and revenue growth across allplumbing and drain services. This role is focused on developing salesstrategies, supporting field teams in presenting solutions, and ensuring thatcustomers are provided with clear options that meet their needs. The SalesManager works closely with service leadership to align sales efforts withoperational delivery, while fostering a customer’s first experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and manage sales strategies to increaserevenue across plumbing, sewer, and drain services.
- Support technicians and sales representatives inpresenting repair, replacement, and upgrading options to customers.
- Track and report sales performance metrics,including conversion rates, revenue, and average ticket size.
- Collaborate with marketing on lead generationinitiatives related to plumbing and drain services.
Team Support & Development
- Provide coaching and training to sales staff andtechnicians on communication and presentation skills.
- Encourage consistency in how options andsolutions are offered to customers.
- Lead regular meetings to review salesperformance, share best practices, and support team development.·
Customer Experience
- o Ensure a customer-first approach in all salesinteractions, focusing on trust, clarity, and professionalism.
- o Handle escalating customer concerns with careand provide solutions that maintain strong relationships.
- Partner with operations to ensure jobs sold arealigned with company standards and customer expectations.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the Plumbing Manager andservice leadership to coordinate sales efforts with service delivery.
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting on salesperformance and pipeline to senior leadership.
- Stay informed on plumbing and drain industrytrends, technologies, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of sales management experience in plumbing, HVAC, or related home services.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with plumbing and drain systems preferred.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting.
