JOB SUMMARY:
The Monarch Experience Department is a fun and exciting way to join the ski industry and the Monarch family. The Monarch Experience Specialist should be eager to learn, experience, and curate all that Monarch and the surrounding areas have to offer.
The Monarch Experience Specialist should be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced sales and customer service environment. The Monarch Experience Specialist is an ambassador for the mountain and books all resort services for our guests. The responsibility of the Monarch Experience Specialist is to determine guest needs and match them with the appropriate products, all while setting clear and accurate expectations and ensuring reservations are free from error. The Monarch Experience Specialist with be working with all products available at the Mountain including, but not limited to, lift tickets, tubing, rental equipment, and ski/board lessons.
Excellent communication, attention to detail, customer service, sales skills, teamwork, and ability to work in an office environment are a must. This position requires the ability to have a flexible schedule, including weekends & holidays, and requires the ability to use multiple software applications at a time. Intermediate to advanced computer skills are necessary for all qualified candidates. Product, resort, sales, and system application training will be provided.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The Monarch Experience Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Be responsible for taking inbound calls.
- Maintain an advanced knowledge of Monarch Mountain and available products as well as general knowledge of surrounding area.
- Be on-time for all scheduled shifts and maintain acceptable attendance.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Give world-class service to all guests.
- Assist with special projects and/or tasks when needed.
- Have fun on the phone! Create relationships with our guests and be excited about the product you have to offer.
- Function as an ambassador of Monarch Mountain.
- Model and share the Monarch "culture" with our guests and employees.
- Uphold the most professional image.
- Continually strive to exceed our guest's expectations and create memories for our guests and staff.
- Cross-train with our Season Pass desk and Ticket counter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Age: 18
- Legal citizen of the United States or possess other proper work permit authentication.
- High School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
- Basic to advanced computer skills.
- Requires working at high elevation (up to 12,000’), with extended exposure to adverse weather conditions, such as severe cold, heavy snowfall, rain, strong winds and intense sun.
JOB TYPE: Winter Seasonal, Full and Part Time

- Compensation: Proposed hiring rate starts at $19.00 (actual pay will be adjusted based on experience).
