Summary
The Provider Success Consultant (PSC) serves as the primary liaison and relationship owner with providers and practice staff, building valued relationships that foster success for both practices and IntraCare. The ultimate goals are maximizing financial performance and improving quality of care. PSCs identify and close performance gaps at every level: member, practice staff, provider, and population. These result-oriented, high performing professionals must be strong generalists with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Build relationships with providers and their staff that impact results:
- Confirm correct and complete documentation of provider (i.e. contract, demographics)
- Routinely communicate and track outreach to ensure timely follow up
- Establish transparent expectations and deliver consistently
- Ensure every provider experiences the value of IntraCare’s management and support
- Sustain high engagement scores with all strategic providers
- Orient and educate all assigned new and existing providers to a high standard of alignment:
- IntraCare processes, requirements, and business objectives
- Population Health analytic system proficiency and training
- Training and best practice tools to ensure good understanding and consistent performance across various medical practice audiences
- Relevant workflow improvement tips
- Total value proposition - potential earnings associated with high performance
- Performance - manage assigned providers:
- Deliver performance reporting to assigned providers, highlighting opportunities using data analytics
- Ensure providers are improving results or sustaining high performance in KPIs
- Document performance improvement plans for below average or non-performing providers
- Deploy company and health plan staff mindfully in support of performance objectives
- Host or attend meetings as needed to support company and department objectives
- Maximize attendance at IntraCare meetings and events
- Triage, track, and resolve issues reported from members, providers, and practices:
- Identify and treat root causes of issues engaging operations and management as needed to enhance product offerings and/or prevent future gaps.
- Liaison with health plans and internal operations as needed to close issues
- Provide excellent customer service to customers of all kinds
- Facilitate IT issue resolution
- Escalate issues appropriately, raising risks to management with solutions in mind
- Respond within 24 business hours to provider emails and messages
- Promote business expansion through member growth and product enrollment:
- Facilitate organic growth within practices in alignment with sales objectives
- Actively recruit high quality practices within your assigned territory
- Obtain contracts and project manage new provider implementations expeditiously
- Ensure business documentation is reflective of approved company branding.
Continuously pursue a mastery of relevant industry knowledge to improve provider performance, such as but not limited to:
o Primary care industry best practices, especially RCM and operations
o Medical expense resource stewardship strategies
o National quality of care standards such as NCQA HEDIS
o Government program regulations and payment models
o Promoting Interoperability guidance through MIPS
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with consistent tracking and reporting of results
- 3+ years of provider relations or managed care experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to interface effectively both internally and externally with a wide range of people including physicians, office staff, hospital executives, and other health plan staff.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends on occasion based on business needs
- Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 75% within the Texas and Oklahoma areas (may include but some travel to our corporate office in Carrollton, TX)
- Proficient in MS suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of direct experience working with or for a primary care practice.
