4 Month Co-op

Why This Role is Important

We’re looking for a hardworking and independent Marketing Co-op Student to join our team. Reporting to a Marketing Manager, this role is an exciting opportunity to learn about the Canadian telecom and insurance industries while gaining hands-on experience in marketing campaign delivery—from concept to execution.

You’ll support initiatives across The Mobile Shop, PC Mobile, and PC Insurance with responsibilities ranging from campaign planning and execution to social media, content development, PR, financial tracking, and ad-hoc creative projects. This well-rounded internship will give you exposure to all areas of marketing and set you up for future career success.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, curious, and proactive, with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Support marketing campaigns across multiple portfolios, including awareness, acquisition,
  • Collaborate with creative agencies, PR/Comms, Digital/SEO, Product, Sales Enablement, and Data teams to bring campaigns to life
  • Contribute to organic social media and content development (social posts, blogs, giveaways)
  • Support campaign planning and execution, including brief writing, creative development, media planning, and implementation
  • Assist with competitive tracking and share insights through reporting (e.g., weekly competitor reports using Panoramata)
  • Monitor, track, and communicate campaign results and insights
  • Proofread marketing materials to ensure clarity, grammar, and brand consistency
  • Coordinate budgets, including tracking, reporting, and invoicing
  • Ensure compliance of assigned campaigns in partnership with Legal
  • Provide support on ad-hoc requests from the Marketing or Product teams

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Marketing program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective project management and time management skills
  • Financial competence and strong attention to detail
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn
