Career Summary:
The PTAP and AFPPA team is looking for a dedicated and high-performing Accreditation Program Analyst. The Accreditation Program Analyst-Practice Transition Accreditation Program® (PTAP) Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Accreditation® (APPFA) provides independent content expertise and analysis for the program applicant organizations, commissioners, appraisers, general public, the ANCC office staff, and other key stakeholders. This position personifies the program by teaching, coaching, and supporting applicants. This position will also directly support reaccreditation applicants, progress reports and quality audits.
The visibility of this position in the nursing community requires the incumbent to be an independent decision-maker, skilled in project management, and coordination with all aspects of the program under the supervision of program leadership, the Assistant Director of Operations (ADO), and Director. The incumbent should be well versed in the profession of nursing, valuing, and pursuing professional contacts to strengthen and expand the programmatic vision within their various areas of expertise.

What You Will Do:
- Serves as a subject matter expert to assist and support applicants and reaccrediting programs through the application review process.
- Responsible for determining applicant organization eligibility during the application process, conducting customer webinars and corresponding with customers during the appraisal process.
- Under the supervision of the Director and ADO, develops and implements resources for applicants and reaccrediting programs for the appraisal process.
- Collaborates with program leadership to ensure compliance and quality within program operations.
- Collaborates and informs program leadership of any issues occurring during the appraisal process.
- Serves as a collaborative member of the team to ensure accurate and efficient program operations.
- Coordinates logistics and responsible for collaborating with team on the content for program workshops.
- Collaborate with the ADO when interfacing with the Appraisers, assessing adherence and compliance to the accreditation criteria and reviewing appraisal documentation.
- Collaborates with the ADO in the development and review of the appraisal documents, motions and decision letters.
- Interfaces with members of the Commission during the appraisal process, as needed.
- Uses critical analysis to determine the need for consultation from the program leadership team.
- Responsible for maintaining a current knowledge base regarding the requirements for International Standards Organization (ISO) registration.
- Demonstrate understanding and commitment to adhering to the ISO 9001:2015 Standards within the framework of ANCC's scope of work and its Quality Management System.
- Accountable for compliance and continued quality management as required by ISO registration.
- Represents the ANCC and the program at meetings with commissioners, volunteer groups, professional associations, and other groups, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the American Nurses Enterprise:
Education
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN). Baccalaureate degree must be in nursing.
- Master’s degree preferred or commensurate experience.
Related Work Experience
- Minimum of Four (4) progressive experience in coordination of projects with multiple complexities and concurrent task coordination requiring attention to detail.
- Skillful communicator and collaborator.

- Must be proficient in all Microsoft office products and databases and other types of information technology and social media such as Twitter, Higher Logic and learning community software.
- Must have knowledge and experience in nursing/healthcare, business, and quality improvement theories.
- Articulate verbal communication and poise in presenting complex topics to prestigious leadership groups, at national conferences and other formats using many formats: PowerPoint, webcast, and panels.
Additional Qualifications
- Able to travel to and work from other metropolitan areas many times a year for multiple overnights.
- Able to travel by airplane to national, regional, and international airports as needed.

Work Schedule:
